Clean Skincare Products

When you're undergoing fertility treatment you'll do anything and I mean ANYTHING to help right? Like all those wives tales. Stand on your head for 7 minutes after sex. 7?! I'll do it for 24 hrs (please don't try this at home LOL). But all I'm saying is we'll try it all.

One of the things that was important to me during my journey and now in general, was clean skincare. This was starting with my face and all the way down to my toes! Everything that affects our skin affects our insides. Which also leads me to this. Why would be told its important to refrain from X, Y, Z during pregnancy and not all the time? If these products are harmful for a growing baby why aren't they harmful to us when not pregnant?

So I did some research for myself to find some products I love. Now some women prefer fragrance free. I will list a few but you should know I am a BIG fragrance gal!

So lets talk about it.

Face:

I do have combination skin that tends to lean more towards oily. If you are in the Las Vegas area I do have a couple aesthetician I recommend in the area.

I have a morning & night skincare routine. If this is something you're interested in learning about let me know. FYI all of these products are retrieval, transfer and pregnancy approved.

I really love all drunk elephant products. Some of the ones I recommend are

• Marula Luxury Facial oil (this goes well with their Di Bronzi)

• Lala Retro Whipped Cream Moisturizer

• Di Bronzi Anti Pollution Sunshine Drops (For a Sunny Glow)

• NO 9 Jelly Cleanser (This is my holy grail and great for removing makeup)

• Umbra sheer sunscreen (not white or sticky)

• Umbra tinte sunscreen (Super light tinte)

For a daily moisturizer

• Cerave Moisturizer

• Cetaphil Moisturizer (I prefer the one with sunscreen)

  • Ive also heard great things about the elta daily sunscreen

Body Wash/Lotions

• Alba Botanica Very Emollient Body Lotion

  • This is definitely a heavier lotion but it has tons of different scents

• Alba Botanica Body Wash

  • My favorite scent is the Honey Mango

• Jasons Body wash

  • My favorite is "Tea Tree" but they have many options including fragrance free (I also love this brands Toothpaste & Mouthwash)
